Blogging 101 #4

Who is my target audience? This is a tough question and difficult to answer but after giving the matter some thought I have realised the following.

When I started the blog in 2013 the audience I had in mind was the 15% to 18% of the population that have some form of disability. The blog was to enlighten people about places that were accessible and disability friendly. I still do that a bit but not as regularly as I did initially. There is still an interest in the accessibility portion of the blog but the ‘Just Thoughts’ has proven to be very popular.

So back to the topic at hand; who is my target audience?  I’m really not sure but I think it would be someone like me, like myself. What would I like to read?

I really don’t know who my target audience is and I’m not really concerned as I will continue writing for the enjoyment it brings me. That others across the world read me is a bonus and watching the rise occasionally in visitor numbers is a real source of pride for me. Thanks WordPress for supplying the stats.
