Bramley Lodge, Cobh Cross, Co Cork

Jean and I went for a drive this morning towards east Cork. We were on a mission but I’ll tell you more about that another time. We stopped at Bramley Lodge for a break and were not disappointed. Check it out – Jean had a cappuccino and scone whilst I had green tea and a scone. Both came with home made jam and fresh cream. The staff were efficient and friendly and the food was excellent. The restaurant is totally accessible as are the toilets. One minor crib was that while there was plenty of car parking spaces none were designated for disabled drivers & passengers. When I raised the issue I was told that it had been considered and would be addressed. I will call back again to check the parking and have another scone.
