I had a drive around this morning. I returned a book to the library in Blackpool which is totally accessible. I then went on to Cork Vision Centre @ St Peter’s http://www.corkvisioncentre.com/corkvision2/Main/Home.htm on North Main St. The central floor area is occupied by a scale model of Cork City stretching from Blackrock to The Lee Waterworks. There was a photographic exhibition and some of the shots were absolutely beautiful. The main area is totally level and easily accessible but there is one nook with a step down that is not ramped or marked in any way. The danger being that if you are busy looking at the exhibits, as I was, and not looking at the floor you could easily come a cropper. I have been informed that this defect will be rectified and I will check again at some time in the future.
Public parking is available in the area with a small number of designated parking spaces. I drove around the block and eventually found a space. The venue is totally accessible and has 1 wheelchair accessible toilet.
